1. Who We Are

Mastermind Assistant is a course analysis and creation tool developed by The Namers, an eLearning provider with over 10 years in the field.

Our mission is to help educators, administrators, and course creators save time and improve course quality through data-driven insights.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide the service and improve it:

• Contact details: name and email (via contact or demo request form).
• Account details: your name, email, LMS platform and domain, and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name and email from that provider.
• Website analytics data: anonymous usage data collected through Google Analytics (e.g., pages visited, time on page, device type).
• LMS plugin data: aggregated course figures (enrollments, completions, grades and SCORM results), course structure and content you choose to analyze, course-evaluation answers with names, emails, numbers and links removed, and any submission a teacher sends for grading assistance. Learner names, emails and user IDs are not sent to our servers or to Anthropic. A submission is sent as the student wrote it, so a name typed inside the text itself is not removed.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide demo access and respond to your requests.
• Improve user experience and product performance.
• Analyze anonymized usage patterns to enhance future features.
• Communicate updates, improvements, or invitations related to Mastermind Assistant (only with your consent).

4. Use of Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to support our operations:

• Google Analytics — for website traffic insights. Data is anonymized and aggregated.
• Anthropic Claude API— for generating course analysis, reports, content suggestions, grading assistance and report drafts. Learner names, emails and user IDs are never transmitted. When a teacher requests grading assistance, the student's submission is processed without those identifying fields. API inputs are not used for model training.
• Lemon Squeezy — our payment provider, which processes subscription payments and billing details. We do not store card details.
• Hosting — our service runs on servers in the European Union.

Each third-party provider processes data in accordance with their own privacy and security policies.

5. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.

No system is 100% secure, but we continuously monitor and update our practices to ensure strong protection.

6. Data Retention

• Contact form data is kept only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry.
• Analytics data is stored according to Google's default retention settings.
• Account details are kept while your account is active and deleted when the account is deleted.
• No personal data from LMS learners is stored on our servers.
• Course content, instructions, submissions and evaluation answers sent to the AI provider are processed in transit only. We do not store the text of prompts, submissions or evaluation answers. We keep request metadata (endpoint, token counts, duration and cost) for usage accounting.
• On Enterprise plans we store what leadership reporting needs: daily aggregated course figures, evaluation themes with their counts (not the answers), and the reports and drafts we generate, so you can follow trends and return to earlier reports. Short, redacted excerpts are kept only if your organization turns them on. All of this is deleted when the account is deleted.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
• Withdraw consent at any time for communications.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically to reflect improvements or legal requirements. Updates will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
